1. Information We Collect

When you use FounderTxt, we collect the following information:

• Account information: Email address (required for login via Supabase Auth).
• Usage data: Number of tweets generated per day, selected content patterns, and Pro/Free tier status.
• Content inputs: The text you enter into fill-in-the-blank fields to generate tweets. These inputs are transmitted to our AI provider for processing.
• Generated tweets: AI-generated tweet drafts and history (for Pro subscribers).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

• Provide the tweet generation service
• Enforce usage limits (3 tweets/day for Free tier)
• Save your tweet history (Pro subscribers only)
• Improve the quality of our AI prompts and content patterns
• Send critical service updates (e.g., terms changes, outage notifications)

We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

FounderTxt relies on the following third-party services to function. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Supabase (supabase.com) — Handles authentication and database storage (email, usage counts, tweet history).
• DeepSeek (deepseek.com) — Processes your text inputs to generate tweet drafts. Inputs are transmitted for inference only and are not stored by the AI provider.
• Waffo (waffo.com) — Payment processing and subscription management. We do not store your credit card or payment details. Waffo is the Merchant of Record.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase's EU or US data centers, depending on your region. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3) for data in transit and Supabase's built-in encryption for data at rest. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Cookies

FounderTxt uses essential session cookies via Supabase Auth to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your tweet history (Pro subscribers)

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data (email, tweet history, usage records) is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymized aggregate usage statistics may be retained.

8. Children's Privacy

FounderTxt is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. International Users

If you access the Service from outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.

10. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of material changes to this Privacy Policy via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
